Feeding Directions

The average cat will eat one ounce for each pound of body weight per day, and is best served twice daily. After 30 minutes, remove and refrigerate any uneaten portions. Always feed at room temperature & provide fresh, clean, water. For Kittens, Pregnant & Nursing Cats: Feed 2-4 times the amount.

HELPFUL HINT: Most cats love Doc’s Stew™ right away, but since cats are ‘creatures of habit’you may want to add a favorite topping as an incentive to start them off on our healthier food. Or try Doc Holiday’s Real Meat Treats, which your cats are sure to love. You can mash the stew with a fork if your kitty thinks it’s too chunky.

Featured Testimonial

“My cats turned their noses up at all the so-called healthy foods on the market, so I tried making their food, but that was very time consuming. I couldn’t believe how much they LOVE your food and how much healthier they’ve already become. THANK YOU so much for this amazing and special food. I feel better knowing they’re eating so healthy!” – B. Johnson, Clearwater, FL.

About Doc’s Stew® for Cats Ingredient List

Doc’s Stew® Holiday Turkey Recipe for Cats is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for ALL LIFE STAGES.

Holiday Holistic products do not contain by-products, sugar, artificial preservatives, colors or flavors and are made with the same high quality ingredients you’d find in the grocery store for the rest of your family.

We believe that there is nothing about the body that cannot be improved or better supported when it’s given the right nutritional support. Carnivorous felines invariably consume at least a bit of vegetable matter by eating herbivores (plant eaters). One way or another, Mother Nature sees to it that her all-important greens and veggies are eaten and utilized in cats’ diets. For optimum health, holistic veterinarians suggest that a cat’s diet be made up of 70 percent meat and 30 percent vegetables. We’ve found that these ratios work well to assure the most fit and trim felines.

Cats should never consume grains (like corn, wheat, rice or potatoes) which can cause urinary tract problems and lead to kidney disease, obesity and diabetes.

Why is our label so much shorter than what you’re used to seeing? How come we don’t have a long list of added supplements at the end of the label? It’s simple. Our high quality REAL, wholesome food supplies Complete and Balanced Nutrition without a long list (usually between 20 and 40) of isolated vitamins and minerals tossed in to make sure the “food itself” meets minimum AAFCO requirements. Our food promotes great health, as opposed to sustaining life. Why do cats love it so much? Our Holistic Chefs use the highest quality ingredients that are easy for your pet’s body to use, assimilate and eliminate. Our guaranteed analysis is practically identical to what a cat would eat in the wild. It just makes them feel great!

Turkey
Delicious, lean, all natural turkey provides a wonderful source of protein and remains lower in fat and cholesterol than other meats.
